Children's Ministries
Our strategy is to partner with families and parents to help their child discover and embrace a personal relationship with Jesus, both at The Rock and at home.
Each weekend, K-5th graders are invited to participate in a safe, fun and purposeful time of worship and teaching to learn more about God. We are committed to helping your child grow in every aspect of their relationship with Jesus and knowledge of God’s Word. Our Kidz Rock Staff have a passion for serving in children’s ministry and have a deep desire to see children know, love and serve Jesus.
Our Sunday morning gathering begins at 10:00am.
During the school year our Kidz Rock participate in our Awanas Clubs on Wednesday listed below.
Our Kidz Rock Summer splash picks up when the school year and Awanas both come to an end. Wednesday nights we have dinner at 5:30pm and Kidz Rock follows starting at 6:30pm and ending at 8pm.
Come check us out this week. You and Your Kidz will be glad you did.
WE MAKE WHAT WE DO EACH WEEK MATTER:
From the time a child is born until they graduate from high-school, they have approximately 936 weeks. It seems like a lot, but it goes by fast. In fact, on any given year, to any given child, the Church only has about 40 weeks to teach children biblical principles that they can apply in their everyday lives. (That’s even taking into consideration vacations, holidays, and sick days each year.) We know that we have a short window of time, so we are intentional about the time we spend with the kidz at The Rock.
Studies prove that kids form their idea of who God is and choose whether or not they’ll have a relationship with Him before leaving 5th grade. Therefore our strategy is to partner with families and parents to help their child discover and embrace a personal relationship with Jesus, both at The Rock and at home.
Every Sunday we have childcare available for newborns through five year olds as well. We have two separate groups, one room for babies from newborn to two years old and the other for ages two to five, both starting before service every Sunday morning.
Li’l Rock babies are in their own separate room with age appropriate toys, walkers, playpens, bouncers, and more. We also have a room in the nursery where nursing mothers can have some comfortable privacy as well.
Li’l Rock kids from ages two to five join us in another room where they are invited to participate in play, crafts, snacks, and fun lessons to learn more about God. We are committed to helping your child grow in every aspect of their relationship with Jesus and knowledge of God’s Word at every age.
During the school year your Li’l Rock 2-5 year olds can participate in our Awanas puggle group listed below.
Li’l Rock Summer Splash takes place when the school year and Awanas both come to an end and after dinner at 5:30pm Wednesday nights Li’l Rock starts for our 2 to 5 year olds at 6:30pm and ending at 8pm.

Student Ministries
Our strategy is to partner with families and parents to help their teenagers discover and embrace a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord.
Welcome to the Student Ministry page of our website! When you visit the Rock it will not take you long to realize that you want your teenager to get involved. We have a loving team of people who work hard to reach and teach students how to walk out their faith. When asked about the ministry outlook for youth, new Student Pastor James says this:
“It is our mission to Glorify God by leading others into a right relationship with Him through Jesus Christ! To stand firm on the truths of His word while maintaining and projecting the simple gospel, so that every young person from any background may feel invited into the Kingdom of God.”
Together we seek to catch the imagination of your students. Has your student been challenged to grow spiritually in a way that captures his/her heart for Christ? Is your family stronger because your teenager is growing in the Lord? Obviously there are no guarantees but we can say our goal is to come along side both students and parents and build strong bridges of love and respect. If you would like to talk please give us a call.
What are some of the things we do?
Our first goal is to be safe and the second is like it have fun. All the rest of our rules are built on these. If you are interested in your teenager getting involved please download and fill out the permission form provided above↑

How do we help Students with costs?
The rock is a loving congregation! Each year the Student ministry sponsors a number of fundraisers to assist families with the cost of the trips. The two most expensive activities are camp and the winter retreat. All the money the students earn goes towards those two events first. After a student has earned enough to pay for those trips he/she can begin using their earned money for other activities. While they may not earn all of their expenses, what they do earn goes a long way to helping the home budget.

Life Groups
We’re so glad you are here! Often churches have small groups as a part of their ministry and that is a good thing. However The Rock is seeking to build a church of small groups. This simply means that we believe that the small group ministry is the most strategic ministry in the body to meet the needs of those attending The rock. These groups are being developed to meet most days of the week. We are in the process of building a ministry that will love god, Love Others and Serve with Joy. We hope you will decide to attend a group that will be convenient and encourage you to grow in your walk with the Lord.
Information on Small Group meetings is being updated for the summer/fall seasons.
The Rock Men's Ministry
Our purpose is to define authentic manhood.
Our purpose is to help men experience a right relationship with God through the Savior Jesus Christ. We create an environment where men are challenged to live a holy life before their families and friends while providing an opportunity for fellowiship.
We provide for our families, fight for righteousness, build a strong band of brothers and are faithful to the word of God. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
In Proverbs 27:17 we are told, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Strong men build up other strong men.
Our Men’s Ministry calender is being updated for the summer and fall seasons. We’ll be happy to have you join us for food, fellowship and God’s Word!
